Modeling of material growth in nonlinear elasticity
Tipo de evento: Seminário LNCC
The finite elasticity boundary value problem coupled with nonlinear heat equation and the transplant evolution equation is considered [1] for the purposes of material growth in mechanics and biology. The existence of almost classical solutions is shown. The presented results [1,2] are obtained in collaboration with Pavel I. Plotnikov and Jean-François Ganghoffer.References[1] a joint paper with Pavel I. The volumetric material growth model considered is introduced in the framework of finite elasticity. Some new results for a broad class of growth models in mechanics and biology are also given.
